The partisipant is required to participate in one or more physical activitiey for 30 hours over 15 weeks for the Bronze level.

To qualify, the minimum number of hours must be achieved, but no more than 2 hours per week can be counted, even if the participant is involved in an intense training activity or a series of tournaments.
Participation sessions are to be coached or supervised by persons knowledgeable and experienced in the activity.
The form of participation should be approved in advance by the assessor.
Participants should keep a written record of date and hours spent in participation. Use of a calendar is recommended.
Methods of monitoring performance can usually be obtained from a physical education teacher or fitness instructor.
