Welcome
The Information and Communications Technology Department (ICT) is the computing and communications facilities and features that support teaching, learning and a range of activities in education.
The aim of the ICT department is to ensure that students gain life-long skills as independent learners and autonomous users of ICT. Students are encouraged to maximise their potential and develop transferable skills to make the most of the wide range of opportunities offered for ICT both across the curriculum and in their daily lives.

Through up-to-date software and hardware our objective it to train all pupils and staff to use a wide range of technologies to gather, store, retrieve, process, analyse and communicate information.
As well as teaching ICT discretely we also use it as a tool to promote accelerated and independent learning. It allows us to cater for all learning styles and is a vital part of teaching in all subject areas.
Student Work of the Month Richard Gillen
Hi my name is Richard Gillen I am in Year 12 and I draw ‘pixel art’ I use an open source program named Paint.NET, I like it because it has a great art community that try to help everyone out on the programs forums. The program is like Photoshop, but a free version. I create buildings and space scapes I love space and everything about it, I am also trying to build a large piece with lots of buildings and people. I don’t know why I enjoy it, I just like drawing things like this because I am good at it, I couldn’t draw anything half decent when it comes to a pencil and paper.
